Elisa Keeler, though being born in regional Victoria, spent most of her life living in Queensland. After finishing a Visual Fine Art degree she decided to study Fashion at RMIT in Victoria.
Elisa’s design practice looks at anxieties, failure and the everyday performance of wearing apparel. Often employing stretch techniques and looking to lingerie archetypes and social pressures about filling the space allowed in garments. She describes her stylised honours collection as a cosmetic application of neo-gaudy decoration that enables a more fluid experience for the wearer. She wishes to carry these themes with her into a career in the industry.
Elisa Keeler completed the Bachelor of Fashion (Design)(Honours) at RMIT University in 2016.
